The BJP Mayurbhanj unit held here a massive demonstration demanding early distribution of plots of land along with Record of Right (RoR) among the landless people belonging to SC, ST and OBC category.
The landless people are now residing in 32 different wards of Baripada Municipality and they should be given land within 30 days, the party demanded.
The demonstration held in front of the local Collectorate was led by the party district unit president Dr Krushna Chandra Mohapatra. Others who took part in the demonstration include BJP district general secretary laxmidhar Hauda, former MlA Kandra Soren, State executive member Chhotela Mohanta and Suman Singh, district vice-presidents Subash Pradhan, Sobhabati Otta and Paresh Mohanta, BJP town president Vijay Das, former ZP president Prakash Soren and ZP members Kalicharan Naik and Jayanti Singh.
