Amidst concern among students and their parents for possibility of rescheduling the Matric and Plus II examinations in view of Covid-19 resurgence in the State, School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash cleared the air on Friday.
Dash stated that there would be no change in the dates for conducting the annual Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination and Plus II examination this year. “Both the examinations will be held as per schedule,” he told media.
The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) is scheduled to conduct the HSC examination from May 3 to 15. The practical test would be held for the Class-X students from April 27 to May 2.
The Plus II examination to be conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) is scheduled from May 18 to June 11. The practical examinations would be held from April 29 to May 8.
