There is no stopping cases of crimes against women in Odisha as a 30-year-old married woman was allegedly gangraped by four persons, including a minor, at Sector-7 in Rourkela on Sunday night.
According to reports, the four accused barged into the house of the woman while her husband was absent. They allegedly raped her and fled from the spot.
The victim’s husband found her in a critical condition after he reached the house. She was immediately admitted to the Rourkela Government Hospital.
Acting on a complaint lodged by the woman’s husband, police arrested two accused, including the minor.
Efforts were on to nab the others involved in the crime who went absconding after the incident, police sources said, adding that the arrested ones have been sent for medical examination.
