Maoists have issued a letter threatening to kill lanjigarh MlA Balabhadra Majhi and the Biswanathpur block Chairman and Vice-Chairman if they support corporate houses. The letter has the signature of Bansadhara-Ghumusar-Nagabali Divisional Committee leader Umakant. The letter was recovered on Wednesday.
The Maoist leader in the letter has opposed the State Government’s love for companies. He criticised the Government for taking credit by handing over natural resources to the industrial houses. The ultras would protest the move of the Government by targeting Government officials and politicians, the letter said.
