A joint squad of the BDA and the BMC undertook an eviction drive and demolished 16 cabins, 46 temporary polythene shops, 10 tin-sheeted sheds and two extended Omfed shops at different places in the city.
The eviction drive was taken along road stretches between Gopabandhu Square and Siripur Square
The demolition drive was conducted by BDA Enforcement Officer Pramod Patro, liaison Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty and GA Under Secretary Francis lugun were party of the eviction team.
