The Manav Adhikar Suraksha Manch on Monday staged another Ghant Yatra (cymbal rally) at the MKCG Medical College Hospital and sent a memorandum to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik requesting him to fulfil all demands at the earliest.
Expressing deep concern that their repeated letters have remained unheeded, the Manch threatened that its members would henceforth move from door to door and inorm how the MKCG is facing Government negligence.
“Today, we are sending a memorandum for the 10th time. You have sidelined the democratic rights of the people. While the trauma care department is closed, there are one CT scan and digital D-ray machines and a geriatric department in the MKCG MCH. It is also disappointing that doctors are not available on duty ours and many posts of nurses and technicians are lying vacant,” the letter read.
It also stated that Manch members would move from door to door and inform villagers how the problems of the MKCG are not being paid any attention by the Government. The move would begin from September 22, 2017.
“This time, we too politely request you to fulfill our all demands at the earliest,” said coordinator Abani Kumar Gaya, Mahalaxmi Sahu, Sabita Jena, Surjya Kant Patra, Banshidhar Bhuyan, Bijay Bisoyi, Maguni Nahak and many others.
