Two persons of a family of Kabi Samratpalli in Sector-5 of Rourkela, who had sustained critical injuries in a LPG cylinder explosion on May 4, died while undergoing treatment on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Ajodhya Sahu and his 11-year-old son Guddu. Sahu’s wife Ritajanli is still battling for her life. The trio was injured when the cylinder exploded when Ritanjali was preparing food in the kitchen on Monday. The fire quickly spread and engulfed the entire house. They were rescued and rushed to a hospital here. Later, they were shifted to the AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
