Wit an aim to ensure transparency in governance and put pressure on the Government for accountability, a section of civil society members and people from different walks of life are all set to constitute a nonpolitical outfit, namely lokvikalp, at a meeting at the Red Cross Bhawan here on August 17.
A preparatory meeting to this effect was held under the leadership of Commonman Trust Trustee Chandra Mishra where journalist Basudev Mohapatra, Bharatiya Community Radio Association vice-president NA Shah Ansari, social worker Soumendra Jena, Manoj Satpathy and rights activist Akhand were present, informed a Press release issued by the organisers.
