The second Rastriya Lok Adalat of 2019 was held at the various courts in Ganjam district on Saturday.
Under the supervision of the District Judge and District Legal Service Authority Chairman Bibhu Prasad Routray and Secretary Bijay Kumar Dash, different cases were solved in four different benches.
As many as 153 cases of the motor vehicle accidents were solved and Rs 4, 00, 75,900 was awarded to give the victims. Members of four general insurances company and other private insurance companies were present during the bench hearing.
Apart from this, 133 criminal cases, 93 civil cases and 109 pre-litigation cases were also heard.
