In a major jolt to sitting BJD Ekamra Bhubaneswar MlA Ashok Panda, a large number of party workers of the constituency under the banner of the Ekamra Bhubaneswar Swabhimaani Nagarik Manch, a citizens’ group, on Monday resorted to ‘Mass Deepa Dana’ here demanding no party ticket to Panda on the ground that he never paid attention to the problems in the constituency.
“MlA Ashok Panda should not get BJD ticket as he has misused power. He never kept any good relationship with party workers rather he preferred to ignore them. Hence, we urged the Chief Minister not give the party ticket to Panda this time and instead field a fresh face against Panda to ensure a sure victory of the party here,” said a Press release issued by the Manch.
