The Utkal Bikash Yuba Parishad, which is carrying out the Netaji Janma Mati Yatra, on Tuesday conducted a signature campaign in the court premises in support of declassification of Netaji Subhas Bose’s files.Bhubaneswar Bar Association president Akshaya Kumar Patra inaugurated the signature campaign in the presence of a hundred of advocates, including Odisha State Bar Council vice-president Atmaprakash Mohanty, Tribunal president Kuladanandan Das and Capital Bar Association secretary Gobind Pattnaik.
Apart from lawyers, many others too put their signature in support of the demand.Public notary Sarat Bhuyan and advocate Arati Pattnaik took the lead of the campaign. The flex bears a Netaji’s photo and the one line demand, “Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, please declassify all Netaji files”.
Among others, lipak Choudhury, Ashalata Panda, Akhil Nayak, Monalisa Nayak, Sagar Nayak, Smita Pradhan, Deepak Nayak, Geetanjali Swain, Samir Mohapatra, Shraddhanjali Nayak, Bijay Karan, Digprava Panda and Suryakanta Sethy of the Parisad coordinated the programme.
