A laughing club-cum-physical fitness awareness centre for senior citizens under the banner of the lanjipalli Senior Citizens’ Manch was inaugurated on the premises of the Divya Jeeban Sangh by Manch general secretary Biswanath Padhi here on Wednesday.
Retired PET and well-known teacher lakshmikanta Satapathy in his address appraised the senior citizens about the various physical exercises required for the senior citizens to maintain good physique and lead a healthy life.
Convener Krishna Rao coordinated the programme. Among others, one of the Manch’s active members Durga Madhab Padhi was present.
