The SP Foundation is going to organise the 4th Lalatendu memorial day-night football tournament at Barabati ground here on December 8 and 9, informed foundation chairman Swetaparna Roy Mohapatra at a Press meet held here on Monday.
Mohapatra said eight teams would participate from across the State and the winners would get Rs 30,000 and runners up team would get Rs 20,000. Local MLA Samir Ranjan Dash and Upasana Mohapatra, daughter of late Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra would inauguarte the tourney, she added.
Besides, the foundation in collaboration with the Shree Hospital Bhubaneswar would distribute Rs 1,000 to 100 poor school students each.
Among others, foundation organising secretary Chandrakant Baral and Satyendra Mohan Mohanty were present.
