The labour room and medical store on the premises of a private hospital in Laksar were sealed on the direction of the sub divisional magistrate after various anomalies were found here.
The SDM Puran Singh Rana along with a team from the health department raided the Ekta Hospital in Laksar. The officials recovered considerable quantities of banned and other medicines past their expiry date.
When asked to show his degree, the director cum doctor of the hospital was unable to show his degree to the officials or present the registration of the hospital or medical store.
The medical store was found to be functioning without a registered pharmacist and drug license.
