CPI(Ml) Red Star Odisha State committee on Tuesday strongly condemned the State Government for the suicide of Kunduli Dalit minor girl, who was gangraped on October 10, 2017 allegedly by some paramilitary force personnel.
Party State secretary Sivaram said all the Government agencies instead of sympathising with the victim have tried to shield the culprits and also harassed the victim and her family. He demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident by a sitting High Court judge and compensation of Rs 20 lakh to the victim's family.
