A small landscape being developed as one of the most vibrant gardens has been adjudged as the best residential building large garden in Bhubaneswar.
The garden has received accolades from the Regional Plant Resource Centre (RPRC), Bhubaneswar, and the Plant lovers’ Association, Bhubaneswar, in the Annual Garden Competition held for the year 2017.
The garden was also adjudged as the best private landscaped garden in the city, for which Santosh Bala received the trophies and certificates from Nalco CMD Dr Tapan Kumar Chand and RPRC Director Hari Shankar Upadhyay.
For Dr Bala, a senior IPS officer, the award represents her penchant to seen the garden grow year-on-year, which was a barren land few years ago.
Varieties of flowers, fruit-bearing trees have made the small garden the undisputed queen of green patches in the State capital city. The IPS officer couple Santosh Bala and Sanjeeb Panda is green loving and they have nourished the garden with lots of efforts and care.
Ornamental plants, flowering plants, cactuses, creepers, shrubs, herbs and other floras are adding green to the landscape. Judges were
amazed when they visited the garden.
