The Kendrapada Sadar police on Friday arrested a youth on the charge of passing filthy comments on a girl after being infuriated over her denial to his love proposal.
A girl student of Balia CT Training School on Wednesday lodged a complaint that one Subasish Parida (33), a Diploma Engineer certificate holder of Koila under Bhagabatpur GP, passed filthy comments to her as she denied his love request. Acting on the complaint, we have registered a case and arrested Parida, said Satyabrata Rout, SI of the Sadar PS.
The arrested youth was produced before the SDJM court and remanded into jail custody after his bail plea was rejected, Rout informed.
