An 18-year-old youth, Sunil Behera, of Mangalpur village under Rajkanika block in Kendrapada district died of dengue in Delhi on Wednesday.
Sunil had gone to Delhi with his father in the first week of this month to work in a hotel. Recently, he got fever. As his blood samples tested dengue positive, he had been admitted in a private hospital there.
As many as 25 persons of the district were suffering from dengue as on September 15, according to a Government report. While 19 were undergoing treatment outside the district, six are in Kendrapada hospitals, the report said.
