Man puts barricade claiming land as personal
The studies at the Kadalibadi Project Primary school came to a standstill in last 10 days following a local villager, Raghu Mallick, allegedly made a barricade leading to blockage of the lone path of the school. He claimed the land to be of his own.
According to lili Kumari Dei, the headmistress of Kadalibadi Project Primary School, as many as 62 students are studying in the school and three teachers are engaged there.
But on July 23, Mallick put up the barricade preventing path to the school. The headmistress brought the matter before the notice of the CRCC Dipak Kumar Behera and the Block Education Officer about the problem.
The CRCC visited the school to inquire the matter and brought the problem before the senior authorities. However, no steps were taken so far. As a result, protesting the callous attitude of the Education Department, the guardians on Saturday asked the teachers to teach their children on road.
When contacted DPC of SSA, Gadadhar Behera, informed that he had brought the matter before the knowledge of the district Collector to take necessary steps and solve the matter. On Sunday, Tehsildar Dharitri Mishra directed a Revenue Inspector (RI) to visit to the spot to conduct an inquiry.
