Demanding formation of a separate State of Kosal and inclusion of Kosali language in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution of India, members of the Kosal Kranti Dal (KKD) will stage a dharna before the Odisha legislative Assembly on March 22.
A memorandum would be submitted to all Members of legislative Assembly (MlAs) of the 'Kosal' region, KKD leaders said.
As the MlAs did not raise the issue of a separate Kosal State in the Assembly, KKD workers would stage demonstrations before their residences in Bhubaneswar, they said.
