It is yet another such shocking incidence in another residential school when a Class-VIII girl of the Phampuni Upper Primary School under Jeypore block in Koraput district was found pregnant for three months.
The 13-year-old girl, who belongs to a tribal community, had undergone a medical examination three days ago and was found pregnant following the test.
According to reports, the school authorities got suspicious after the girl stopped taking sanitary pads for the last three months and took her to the District Headquarters Hospital for the medical examination. After the test, doctors informed the school officials about her pregnancy.
But when the school Headmistress asked the girl about the matter, the latter did not come forward to reveal anything. Further reports were awaited.
