In a noble effort, a team of the Kiit International School here led by Janhvi Mohanty has embarked on a campaign FlUSH (Focusing on the learning of the Underprivileged on Sanitation and Health) initiative.
The campaign aims at advocating and educating underprivileged children about the hazardous effects of open defecation and encouraging them towards good sanitation practices.
The team visited slum areas like Salia Sahi and Birisa Basti here and talked to children and their mothers there. Through pictorial presentations, the team taught them about proper sanitary practices.
It later conducted presentation about the project and surveys before the students of the Delhi Public School and the Kiit International School here. The team seeks support from everyone for this cause.
