A library of the Khariar Bar Association was inaugurated by the Nuapada District and Sessions Judge Dr KC Rath on Friday in the court premises of JMFC.
Former president of the association late advocate Sunil Kumar Babu’s books which he had donated to the Khariar Bar Association were placed in the library. His family members were present during the library inauguration.
Babu studied law in Ravishankar University of Raipur and started practicing as a lawyer in different courts of Kalahandi and Nuapada districts in 1964. He was elected president of Khariar Bar Association for several times and was respected as learned and knowledgeable person.
Bijaya Babu, son of Sunil Babu, had handed over the personal library to the Bar Association of Khariar to fulfill the wish of his father. The inauguration was followed by a meeting which was presided over by the District Judge and attended by the JMFC, Khariar and all the lawyers of Khariar Bar Association.
