Kalahandi lok Sabha MP Arka Keshari Singh Deo visited different places of Nuapada district on August 15. He was the chief guest of the Independence Day celebration at Karngamal of Boden block.
He expressed happiness that the girls of the remote areas are getting opportunity to get science education due to establishment of a science college at Karngamal. The college authority requested Deo to allot fund for construction of a girls’ hostel.
Deo said that he would make sincere efforts to arrange funds for construction of the girls’ hostel. “I would approach Union Tribal Minister Jual Oram as well as the State Government to allot funds for construction of the hostel,” said Sngh Deo. He also attended a meeting of the Khariar Panchayat Samiti and distributed pension cards to newly selected beneficiaries.
Singh Deo also attended as the chief guest in the final match of Anup Singh Deo Memorial Foot Ball Tournament at Khariar. Suber Singh Deo and Balakrushna Sabar accompanied the MP.
