National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Chairman Raghav Chandra inspected the Khandagiri junction on Sunday and approved the proposal for construction of a flyover there.
Further, he inspected the Bhubaneswar-Puri Section of NH-203 and directed NHAI officers to take up the balance work of ROB and complete Sakhigopal VUP and work of safety measures at the cost and risk of the concessionaire of the project immediately.
the Chairman too directed that the safety measures, suggested by the IRTE, get implemented within next two months.
Notably, Chandra had reviewed the various NH projects underway in the State with Chief Secretary AP Padhi at the State Secretariat here on Saturday.
