The Kendujhar Vikash Manch, formed by the denizens of Kendujhar living in Bhubaneswar, has decided to observe Kendujhar Utsav-2013 on April 28 and 29 here.
A seminar on various problems in Keonjhar district will be held on the occasion, while a string of cultural shows including folk song and dance specific to the district and a poets and writers’ meet would be organised. Famous personalities who have brought glory to the Keonjhar would be felicitated.
Dharani Samman, instituted for the first time in honour of tribal leader and freedom fighter Dharanidhara Bhuyan, would be given to a few social workers for commendable works.
