The notorious youth gang ‘Koi Bhai Nahi’ (KBN), whose activities came after videos surfaced on social media platforms  has as many as 30 members, said city DCP Umashankar Dash  on Sunday.

He said that while five members of the group have been taken on remand and their marathon interrogation is ongoing, other members would be arrested soon based on the inputs obtained from the arrested accused.

"There are 30 members in the group '. They usually hang out at tea or paan stalls at different places at night. More arrests will be made soon. Besides, the kingpin Bubu Jena is on police radar," Dash said.

“The link of a video of continuous firing or burst firing with the KBN gang has not been established yet. We are yet to ascertain whether the video is from Bhubaneswar or outside,” he said.

Dash further said the investigation is also underway to establish who had shot the video of the gang brandishing weapons in the public.

“Swords and toy guns have been seized and we have information that some more weapons are in possession of the group. The group members were creating fear by brandishing toy guns. We will take action in this regard,” Dash said.

Earlier, he had said seven members of the gang have been arrested and raids carried out to seize the weapons displayed by the gang.
