Senior Congress leader and former Minister Kamala Das on Thursday tendered her resignation from the party.In a letter to Odisha Congress chief Jayadev Jena and AICC, she said the intra-party feud and highhandedness of the State party leadership forced her to quit the Congress.
Das, a former MlA of Bhograi, indicated that she could return to the BJD. “I will return home. After all, we had formed the BJD,” she said. Das, who was the Health Minister in the first term of the Naveen Patnaik Government, had been removed from the Cabinet and BJD. According to the CM she was under the “shadow of corruption”
