The Kalinga Baliyatra 2015 was inaugurated at the Biju Maidan here on Tuesday evening by Excise and Cooperation Minister Dr Damodar Rout.
Kalinga Baliyatra Committee Chairman and Jagatsinghpur district Collector Dr Bijaya Ketan Upadhtaya presided over the function wherein School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra, MP Dr Kulamani Samal, Tirtol MlA Dr Rajashree Mallick, Jilla Parisad president Devidutta Mohanty, PPT Chairman MT Krishna Babu, Paradip Municipality Chairman Basanta Kumar Biswal graced as guests.
Paradip ADM Dr Ramakrushna Sahoo gave welcome address and the vote of thanks was proposed by KBC Secretary and Kujanga Tehsildar Basudev Satapathy.
As many as 254 stalls, including some of the PPT, PPl and the IFFCO, have been opened. The Baliyatra would conclude on November 30.
