Siphoning off Government funds that came under SFC (State Financial Commission) and Central Financial Commission (CFC) grant has cost dear for the Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) of Akhulipada GP under Rajkanika block as she was arrested and remanded into jail custody. According to police sources, PEO Minati Baske in November last withdraw a sum of Rs 10 ,04,687 by submitting four cheques at Bharigada State Bank Branch by forging the signature of the Sarpanch.
