Head Clerk Ranjit Ranjan Behera on the charges of accepting bribes in their respective offices.
The Anganwadi Supervisor was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs 5,000 from complainant
Binodini Maharaj, as Anganwadi worker of Mahamuda Anganwadi Centre, in order to forward the pending bills amounting to Rs 24,777, to be paid in her bank account by District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), Kendrapada.
Her residential Government quarter at Garadpur was under search.
In the second case, Senior Clerk-cum-In charge Head Clerk Behera was caught while taking bribe of 5,000 from Pradyumna Mohapatra of Cuttack in order to hand over the renewed foreign liquor license to him. His residential house at Bhubaneswar was under search.
