Vigilance officials on Friday conducted raid on the houses of Constable Jagadananda Patel in Jharsuguda district on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets. During the search, his residential house at Beheramal in Balijori, office room at the Jharsuguda Police Reserve Office, office room of Anjali Nayak at the Barmal police station, paternal house at Jhirlapali, father-in-law’s house at Balijori in Jharsuguda district were simultaneously searched by the officers.
Total movable and immovable assets, including a triple storied building, amounting to Rs 95,87,210 were detected in the name of Patel and his family members. Search is under progress.
