The 21st Super Cyclone anniversary was observed by the Jagatsinghpur district administration amid Covid-19 guidelines on Thursday.
District Collector Saroj Kumar Mishra lighted a lamp at the memorial pillar stands remembering Super Cyclone deceased in front of the Collectorate. He paid homage to the victims and said the Super Cyclone of 1999 is an unforgettable disaster especially for Jagatsinghpur district, which had faced widespread destruction and thousands of human causalities.Other district officials were present on the occasion.
