The Jagatsinghpur Assembly Constituency BJD unit on Saturday organised a felicitation ceremony at the district headquarters greeting the newly elected MLAs and Minister.
Jagatsinghpur municipal area BJD head Dola Govinda Dash chaired the meeting comprising senior BJD leaders from block and different panchayats.
Newly inducted State Water Resources and I and PR Minister Raghunandan Das, MLAs Bishnu Das and Prasanta Muduli were felicitated on the occasion but newly elected MP Rajashree Mallick and Paradip legislator Sambit Routray were absent on the occasion.
BJD veteran MLA Bishnu Das expressed his gratitude to the voters those who cast vote to BJD in just concluded Assembly polls.
As a consequence, the BJD captured four Assembly seats and lone Lok Sabha segment, covering Jagatsinghpur district.
