Demanding permanent bench of the Orissa High Court in undivided Koraput district, the Bar Association of Jeypore gave memorandums to the Chief Justice of Orissa HC, the Chief Minister and the Governor.
All members of District Bar Association, Jeypore, gave a memorandum to the Chief Justice through District Judge Ranganath Misha demanding a High Court permanent bench.
Then the members of Bar Association took out a motorcycle rally and went to the Jeypore Sub Collector office and submitted a memorandum through BDO Jeypore. This time farmers of different panchayats of Jeypore Block joined the motorcycle rally supporting the demand.
The area satisfies all the criteria for establishing a permanent bench here. So the Government should take immediate step, they added.
In the rally Bar Association president Bijay Rai Jenadeo, Prabhakar Pattanaik, Trinath Singh lal, Biresh Pattnaik and many other senior advocates were present.
