The Joda unit of the BJP Mahila Morcha on Tuesday blackened the photograph of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and the set it on fire protesting against the police forcing women to take off their black scarves, stoles and shawls at the venue of the CM’s recent meeting in Sundargarh district.
Besides, at a meeting of the Joda town BJP, the implementation of various schemes of the Central Government were discussed and plans were chalked out keeping in view the upcoming panchayat elections.
It was also discussed how the BJD Government is harassing people and lowering the dignity of women. BJP district president Radhakanta Mahanta, former MP Ananta Naik, State secretary RP Singh, Joda Manila Morcha president Sushama Karua and Sirish Chandra Mohanty were present.
