The National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets of the Vikramdev Autonomous College here organised an awareness drive on Saturday to sensitise citizens of Jeypore and nearby villages about cleanliness to mark the observance of the Swachhta mission.
The cadets performed a street play ‘Health is Wealth’ at Godapadar panchayat and sensitised the villagers to wash their hands before taking anything into the mouth. They also urged the villagers to keep the area clean and green.
Col Saroj Mati of Jeypore NCC also urged the people to keep their surroundings clean and live a healthy and happy life.
