The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced 2019 results were declared by the IIT Roorkee on Friday. Sambit Behera from Bhubaneswar is the top-ranked candidate in the SC category of the all-India level entrance test.
Another candidate from Odisha, Sayantan Dhar, secured 51st rank in the examination.
Gupta Kartikey Chandresh of Ballarpur is the top ranker in the Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE-Advanced 2019 and Shabnam Sahay of Madhapur is the topper in the female category with CRL 10.
While Chandresh obtained 346 out of 372 marks, Shabnam scored 308 marks in the examination.
A total number of 1,61,319 candidates had appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE-Advanced 2019, out of which 38,705 candidates have qualified in the entrance.
