On the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by Aswini Sahu, Junior Engineer (JE) in the office of Dhankauda block in Sambalpur district (now retired), his residential house, paternal house and another house in Sambalpur town were simultaneously searched by Vigilance officers on Thursday.
The total value of the movable and immovable assets so far detected during the raid was calculated at Rs 1.01 crore. The search was continuing.
