Three Odisha jail officials would be awarded medals on the Independence Day for providing meritorious services for jail reforms.
The officials are Sambalpur Circle Jail Development Officer Sangram Mallick, Balangir district Assistant Jailer Niranjan Kisan and Cuttack Circle Jail Warder Sadashib Pradhan.
This year three jail officials would be awarded for distinguished service and 37 officials for meritorious services.
