On completion of a year of its statue cleaning drive, the Jai Odisha on Sunday formed a team of 30 volunteers, named “Swachh Sanmaan Pratinidhi” to clean all 73 statues in the city every week on a regular basis. Earlier, the organisation was cleaning 16 statues every week through its “Swachh Sanmaan” initiative.
Noted freedom fighter Shri Bhabani Charan Pattnaik and Jai Odisha advisor Dr Jagannath Mohapatra gave good pieces of advice to the volunteers. Members of Maa Mangala Youth Club, Ambition Club, Youth Association, Kedareswari Youth Club, Rasulgarh Durga Puja Committee and other clubs make "Swachh Sanmaan Pratinidhi” team.
