The construction work of the most anticipated heart care hospital was started at Jharsuguda on Tuesday, thanks to efforts from local MLA Naba Kisore Das.
For the first time, a heart hospital will be built in the State at Jharsuguda with a cost estimate of Rs100 crore on PPP mode. This is being done with MCL funds near the District Headquarters Hospital at Balijori.
An MOU has already been signed with Hyderabad -based Manjira Construction Limited to complete the construction of the project by 2020. An agreement has been made with the Quality Care Hospital Private Limited to supply the technical know-how and equipment for the hospital. The three storied hospital will provide 100 beds for the heart patients.
The Chief Minister would inaugurate the hospital after it is operational in the next two years, informed MLA Das.
