Being advised by Jharsuguda MLA and Health Minister Naba Kisore Das, a delegation of Biju Janata Dal met Railway Minister Aswini Vaishnaw at Jharsuguda and handed over a 15 -point charter of demands.
The demands include creating Jharsuguda Railway Division under the East Coast Railway, constructing over bridge at Chowki para and Ghanashyam Hemlata Vidya Mandir, declaring Jharsuguda Station building constructed in 1881 as a heritage building, improving hospital at Railway Colony, imparting better education, infrastructural support to the High School at Railway Colony, improving amusement facilities at Railway Colony like parks and other facilities and facilities at Jharsuguda Road Railway Station.
The delegation included Tapas Roy Choudhury, Sandip Swasthy, P Ram Mohan Rao, Raghumani Patel, Alok Tripathi, and Riyasat Alli.
The Minister gave a patient hearing and assured to look into the matter.
