A huge amount of iron tonic bottles meant for pregnant women and children were recovered in a cashew forest along the Jiranga main road under Rayagada block in Gajapati district.
The expiry date of the tonics is March, 2013. locals demanded immediate investigation into the matter.Notably, iron tablets and tonics are provided by the Health and Family Welfare Department and under various welfare schemes to the children and pregnant women.
