Inspired by ideologies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah, many intellectuals and leaders joined the saffron party in the presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, party State president Basant Panda and Legislature Party Leader KV Singh Deo here on Sunday.
Eminent physician Dr Subash Chandra Sahu, former Brahmapur University’s Journalism and Mass Communication Head Dr Jamula Sheshagiri Rao, noted social activist Punyasloka Mohanty and Subhakant Nanda and Prof Sanamaya Rath, retired CBI Special Judge Hrudaya Ballabh Das and his wife Prabhat Nalini Mohanty and former NIC, Odisah East Deputy Director General Sushant Kumar Panda joined the BJP.
Besides, Gunpur Assembly constituency’s youth tribal leader Rabi Gamang, BSP MLA candidate Bhagaban Gamang and many former block Chairman, Sarpanches and Samiti Members of the BJD, Congress and the BSP jointed the party.
Among others, party general secretary Bhrugu Baxipatra, vice-president Sameer Mohanty forme MLA Bishnu Sethi and BJYM president Tankadhar Tripathy and Anu Choudhury were present.
