The students of Lakshmipat Singhania Public School (LPS) led by chief mentor N Padmanabha Swamy have done research for a couple of months on Odishi dance and bagged platinum award in the International Cyberfair 2920 during the Covid lockdown.
After their research they have designed a website https://www.cyberfairlsps20.com/ and published their research work.
The Covid-19 pandemic could not be a barrier for the students. They have found an innovative solution of collaboration through technology and completed their project by online collaboration from home. Despite the lockdown imposed by the Government, students of LPS completed the project and peer reviewed well within the scheduled date of submission.
The International Cyberfair is an award-winning, authentic learning programme used by schools. Students conduct research about their local communities and use digital media to publish their findings online. Recognition is given to the best projects in each of eight categories such as local leaders, businesses, community organisations, historical landmarks, environment, music, art, and local specialties.
