BJP CELEBRATES YOGA DAY IN B’PUR
Brahmapur: The International Day of Yoga was celebrated at the BJP office here. A large number of party workers and office-bearers joined the event and performed yoga. Former Party district president Kanhu Charan Pati said India’s yoga practice has achieved international recognition. Similar events were organised by the party workers at different Mandals, including in Gosaninuagaon, Old Berhampur, Kamapalli, Aska Road and Gate Bazar areas.
EZCC CELEBRATES YOGA DAY IN KORAPUT
Koraput:The Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre (EZCC) celebrated the International Day of Yoga on Monday in Koraput in collaboration with a local theatre group Nandanik. A special programme was held at Nandanik premises. The programme was inaugurated by eminent poet Jaladhara Swain in presence of literary critic Narayan Panda and academic Dr Jhansi Singh. Yoga Guru Tanmay Pradhan demonstrated the vital asanas and explained its utility. The programme was coordinated Saumendra Swain and Monideepa Gupta.
SUNABEDA WOMEN'S COLLEGE HOLDS YOGA DAY
Sunabeda: The International Day of Yoga was celebrated through virtual mode at the Sunabeda Degree Women's College. Students and staffs performed various yoga asans and spoke about their impacts on health. The programme was inaugurated by Deputy Director Higher Education, Brahmapur Dr Laxmikant Tripathy. College Principal Usharani Dash coordinated the event.
