MP inaugurates 12-bed ICU at Nabarangpur Covid Hosp
Nabarangpur: Nabarangpur MP Ramesh Chandra Majhi inaugurated a 12-bed ICU and a four-bed ventilator unit at the District Covid Hospital here on Wednesday. Speaking to the media, Majhi said the new facilities would meet the healthcare need of the people of the district, particularly for the treatment of critical Covid patients. Among others, Nabarangpur MLA Sadasiv Pradhani and Collector Ajit Misha were present.
Hindalco supports Sambalpur admn in Covid fight
Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the second upsurge of Covid-19, Aditya Birla Group company Hindalco has extended support to the Sambalpur District Covid Hospital and the VIMSAR. On the district administration’s request, the company has donated 50 jumbo cylinders, 20 oxygen concentrators, five ICU beds and 2,000 antigen kits. As a responsible corporate citizen, the Hindalco is engaged in executing its CSR activities in peripheral villages in the areas of education, healthcare, sustainable livelihood and rural infrastructure and addressing the issues of social concern.
Swachhta Pakhwada observed at NTPC Kaniha
Talcher: Swachhta Pakhwada is being observed from May 16 to 31 at the NTPC Talcher Kaniha. In a special event for propagating awareness of cleanliness among employees, Swachhta Pledge was taken by CGM Sudip Nag, GM (O&M) Shivam Srivastava, departmental heads and various employees through online mode. Everyone took an oath that they would be vigilant towards cleanliness, take time out for it and propagate the Swachh Bharat Mission message. The power station plans to organise various events like cleanliness drives in offices, townships, markets, parks, and hospital.
