UCCI Ladies’ Forum holds health checkup camp
Bhubaneswar: The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) Ladies’ Forum in association with the Blue Wheel Hospital organised a diabetic and health checkup camp at the Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Dharmavihar here on Friday. The camp was held in the presence of forum president Dr Geeta Padhi, secretary Dr Bharati and members Archana Malla, Swati Das, Swarna Prava Samal and coordinator JK Sahoo. More than 200 people of the local area got their diabetes, blood pressure and other health-related issues examined by doctors of the Blue Wheel Hospital.
Blossoms Kindergarten celebrates Grandparents’ Day
Bhubaneswar: The Blossoms Kindergarten here celebrated the Grandparents’ Day on Friday. On the occasion, children thanked their grandparents for their love and support and the latter were welcomed with tilak, roses and colourful cards. School Principal Dr Niroj Nalini Kar encouraged the children. Blossoms founder-manager Touraj Moghbelpour and founder-director Nadia Moghbelpour said it is important to sensitise kids about the role of grandparents in one's life and teach them about respecting and taking care of them and emphasised on the emotional bonding of children with their family members.
