With an aim to create a pool of resources to meet demand across the IT Infrastructure Management Services (IMS), the Tech Mahindra in partnership with the KIIT University has launched its IMS Academy at the KIIT campus here. The academy is the first of its kind in eastern India and has capacity to train over 400 students per year. It will provide a range of training facilities in various domains of infrastructure services to meet the growing needs of the industry.
Apart from the KIIT University, students from other institutions in the region can also be enrolled in the programme, if they meet the eligibility criteria. Students can receive the training while pursuing their respective courses in their respective colleges or universities.
Among others, KIIT University Founder Dr Achyuta Samanta, Vice-Chancellor P Mathur, Tech Mahindra CTO (Telecom) Dr Raju Wadalkara and IMS Vice-President Duraivel A Gopal were present at the inaugural ceremony.
